Come Recharge: Visit the Électrium During March Break!
MONTREAL, Feb. 19 /CNW Telbec/ - The Électrium, Hydro-Québec's Electricity Interpretation Centre, has something for visitors of all ages. Come make fascinating discoveries and have hair-raising experiences.
See, touch, experiment and learn!
All day long, visitors can view films and explore the many facets of electricity: its role in the human body, how it gets from the generating station to our homes, the origin of lightning, the secrets of electric fish, how the earth's magnetic field works, and much more!
Younger children can enjoy a face-painting workshop every day between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., except on Sunday between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
All activities are free.
Électrium opening hours:
Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The Électrium is located in Sainte-Julie, near Exit 128 off Highway 30, in the Montérégie region.
