Cominar announces increase to previously announced bought deal financing

QUÉBEC CITY, Feb. 10, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Cominar Real Estate Investment Trust ("Cominar") (TSX: CUF.UN) announced today that its previously announced offering of trust units ("Units") has been increased to 7,973,000 Units at a price of $21.95 per Unit for gross proceeds to Cominar of $175,007,350. The offering is being sold on a bought deal basis to a syndicate of underwriters co-led by National Bank Financial Inc. and BMO Capital Markets. Closing of the offering is expected to take place on or about February 28, 2012. Cominar has also granted the underwriters an option, exercisable at any time until 30 days following the closing of the offering, to purchase a further 1,195,950 Units at the issue price. The net proceeds of the sale of the Units will be used to pay down debt outstanding under current credit facilities, to finance Cominar's ongoing acquisition and development pipeline and for general and corporate purposes.
