Commission on Quality Public Services & Tax Fairness to hold hearings & town hall in Sault Ste Marie February 14
TORONTO, Feb. 13, 2012 /CNW/ - The Commission on Quality Public Services and Tax Fairness, an undertaking by the Public Services Foundation of Canada (PSFC) in response to the Drummond Commission on the overhaul of public services in Ontario, will hold its 12th and final Ontario public hearing and town hall forum in Sault Ste. Marie Feb. 14.
More than two dozen presentations are expected to be made to the Chair of the Commission, Judy Wasylycia-Leis, a former Member of Parliament and previously a member of the Manitoba Legislative Assembly. Former Sault Ste Marie MP and MPP Tony Martin will act as panelist at the town hall forum.
