Annual General Meeting in Quebec City
MONTREAL, June 9 /CNW Telbec/ - The Quebec Community Groups Network will be capping its 15th anniversary celebrations during its Members Convention and Annual General Meeting, which is being held this week in Quebec City.
A central part of our event will be the launch of a special issue of the Association for Canadian Studies (ACS) Canadian Diversity magazine about the diversity of English-speaking Quebec on Friday at 11:30. After lunch, officials with the new Language Rights Support Program (LRSP) will be on hand for a consultation of leaders in the English-speaking Community and on Friday evening the Network will be inducting past president Martin Murphy and former QCGN chairman Hugh Maynard as the Network's first-ever Honourary Members.
On Saturday morning, the QCGN will crown its 15th anniversary with a breakfast panel discussion on "Where will Quebec's English-speaking Community be in 2025, 15 Years from Today". This crowning event of our 15th Anniversary celebrations will be followed by the QCGN's Annual General Meeting during which the Network will elect a new president.
