Compass Group Canada Named a Top 100 Employer and Tops in the GTA

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Oct. 13 /CNW/ - For the second consecutive year, Compass Group Canada is proud to be named a Top 100 Employer in Canada and a Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Top 90.

The 2010 Top 100 Employer list was recently published by Mediacorp Canada Inc., the organization responsible for coordinating the annual competition. The October 8th issue of Maclean's magazine included the Top 100 list, as did the Globe & Mail on October 9, 2009 .

This year, Mediacorp invited 16,000 of the fastest-growing employers to apply, of which Compass Group Canada was one. An additional 8,000 companies and organizations in industries Mediacorp wished to examine more closely were included. Like other contenders, Compass Group Canada had to complete an extensive application that included a detailed review of their operations and HR practices. Compass Group Canada was judged against over 2,600 of its peer organizations.
