Complete Closure of Jacques Cartier Bridge on Saturday August 14 between 8 PM
and 11:30 PM for fireworks finale

LONGUEUIL, QC, Aug. 12 /CNW Telbec/ -The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to announce that the Jacques Cartier Bridge will be closed completely to automobile traffic on Saturday, August 14 from 8 PM to 11:30 PM for the final show of de L'International des Feux Loto-Québec at La Ronde.

The bridge closure will allow pedestrian to enjoy the last fireworks show of the season from the bridge span itself as well as from the sidewalk and bicycle path.

The final show will be shorter than usual, about 10 minutes, as they will precede the Jupiter Awards ceremony of de L'International des Feux Loto-Québec. As a consequence, the bridge may reopen to traffic earlier than scheduled.

Please note that cyclists and pets will not be permitted on the bridge during the event.
