Reuse or Recycle a Computer: Have a Tree Planted!
TORONTO, April 9, 2013 /CNW/ - Looking for an environmentally sensitive and privacy ensured method to dispose of your unwanted computer equipment? Leave it with Computation for FREE during the week surrounding Earth Day and we'll have a tree planted on your behalf for every major item recycled1 via a $1 donation to Tree Canada (a charitable organization which has planted 79 million trees nationally over 20 years, www.treecanada.ca).
From April 22nd - 28th, we are inviting the general public to drop off their unwanted computer equipment for recycling. The event is free for residential quantities of equipment. Businesses, individuals with large quantities, and those with requirements such as pick-up or asset management should contact us about our services. All information present on systems will be securely destroyed.
The Toronto event will take place at 280 Jane St., from 10:00am until 7:00pm Monday through Friday and from 10:00am until 6:00pm on Saturday & Sunday.
The Montreal event will take place at 7080 Alexandra St., Suite 101, from 10:00am until 6:00pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday 11:00am until 5:00pm.
Computation is a computer equipment refurbisher, recycler, IT service provider and ethernet cable installer serving Canada from facilities in the Greater Toronto and Montreal Areas since 2001.
1Items for which donation will be made upon request include but are not necessarily limited to: monitors, computer towers/desktops, laptops, printers, and multifunction devices.
