Concordia Student Union Green Month

MONTREAL , Jan. 26 /CNW Telbec/ - The very first Green Month will be hosted by the Concordia Student Union, CSU, starting the first week of February.

Throughout the month, the CSU, in cooperation with Éco-quartier Peter-McGill, Sustainable Concordia, ASFA, alongside a wide array of other on and off-campus community groups will host lectures, workshops, film screenings, art installations, awareness campaigns, and social events to give Concordia students a holistic understanding of sustainability and inform students about issues relating to climate change, social justice, green economics, and sustainable development.

We are hosting these events in order to foster "a culture of sustainability, to engage students, and enhance community ties" said Alex Oster , VP sustainability and Projects, "we are eager to get started!"
