Concordia University to celebrate Dick and Gretchen Evans photography

MONTREAL, Oct 8 /CNW Telbec/ - The media are invited to attend a special celebration on Thursday, October 14, 2010, to award the Dick and Gretchen Evans Fellowship to a graduate student in Photography at Concordia. Dick Evans, former chief executive of Rio Tinto Alcan, and Mr. Evans's wife, Gretchen, will be present along with the university's senior administration and faculty members. In June, Concordia awarded the first Dick and Gretchen Evans Prize for Photography to Aydin Matlabi, a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Arts student.
