Concrete Show South America 2012 to be Bigger and Better!
Due to high demand UBM's Concrete Show South America has increased its exhibition space to allow more companies the chance to gain direct exposure in a booming market.
SAO PAULO, Brazil, June 18, 2012 /CNW/ - With less than three months to go Concrete Show South America is almost sold out. To accommodate the demands of a growing industry the Concrete Show has constructed a new indoor area in response to exhibitor requests. The increase in space has added to the exhibition area, creating 62,500 sqm2 and making it the largest concrete event in Latin America. With the additional space more companies will be able to build relationships and enhance their industry knowledge.
"The event reflects the market and the current trends. The expansion of the show reflects the fact that there is huge demand for a niche event that serves the needs of the concrete industry," explained Cláudia Godoy, Managing Director, Concrete Show South America. The proposed new area will be in a highly sought after area with additional features designed to make this a premium location.
A surge in productivity due to the growth in the civil construction sector has pushed Brazil towards innovation and the need for adopting best practice. With international companies taking an active interest in the country this has led to increased levels of technical expertise in the industry, which is leading to competition within the construction industry. The event offers the chance for leading names in the industry to showcase their latest products and solutions. Some of the companies include Putzmeister who will unveil a new line of equipment produced in Brazil which is already highly successful in Europe. Penetron will present Penetron Admix, an additive that provides waterproofing by full crystallization, added to the concrete line during production and Goodyear Engineered Products will bring their line of high performance products for use on concrete to Concrete Show South America for the first time, such as the rubber and fabric hose that is highly resistant to abrasion and high pressure.

"Hopes and expectations for the 6th edition of Concrete Show are as good as can be. We are preparing a truly amazing show of machinery and technology which will encompass new developments and the best solutions for the boom in the Brazilian civil construction industry. Concrete Show is here to present to the world the companies who are in the best position to address the issues of the infrastructure of our country", says Cláudia Godoy. Due to the positive economic outlook as well as the growth in the Brazilian construction sector, Concrete Show South America has been on an upward trajectory for the last six years of over 500% in exhibition space.
As well as stimulating business, Concrete Show also invests in facilitating dialogue between professionals, offering high-level conferences, seminars and workshops on issues relevant to the civil construction sector. Bringing some of the renowned industry experts in their respective areas, the 6th Concrete Congress, an event run in parallel to the exhibition, will also take place between August 29st e 31st, at the Centro de Exposições Imigrantes [Imigrantes Exhibition Center], in São Paulo.
