Conference Reminder: Nuclear Power in Society: Finding the Balance

TORONTO , Oct. 23 /CNW/ - Canada's Minister of the Environment Jim Prentice and Duncan Hawthorne , President and Chief Executive Officer of Bruce Power , will present keynote addresses at Nuclear Power in Society: Finding the Balance, a conference to be held in Ottawa on October 25 and 26.

Hosted by the Council for Clean & Reliable Electricity and the University of Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy the conference will focus on three critical nuclear themes - cost, safety and waste management. This will be an excellent opportunity to share insights and learn more about the latest developments from leaders in public policy and nuclear energy.
