Congébec Logistics makes a major step in the building of its nationwide
network
QUEBEC, July 28 /CNW Telbec/ - Congébec announces that it will officially integrate the Toronto market early in the year 2011 with the opening of an eighth cold storage warehouse. These are more than 2.7 million cubic feet that the Quebec company will add to the 23.85 million it's already operating to this day, making it one of the 25 largest refrigerated warehouse companies in the world. Strategically located east of the Pearson airport in the Etobicoke area, this ultra modern warehouse will allow Congébec to serve the Toronto area, starting February 1st 2011.
If Congébec had the desire to settle beyond the Quebec borders for a time now, it is the needs of its existing customers that have prompted the company to settle in Ontario. Mr. Nicholas Paul Pedneault, vice president, explains: "The success that Congébec has known in Quebec for over 35 years, due to the dedication of its staff to deliver the highest standards of service in the industry, has encouraged our customers to demand for our services in Toronto".
This new acquisition fits directly into Congébec's strategy of building a nationwide network. As announced earlier this year, Congébec will also open a 9th warehouse later in 2011, this time in eastern Halifax.
