Conway Resources appoints Philippe Quessy as an independent director

QUEBEC CITY, May 7, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Conway Resources Inc. ("Conway" or the "Corporation") (TSXV: CWY) is pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Quessy as an independent director of the Corporation.

Philippe Quessy has worked for 10 years in the financial industry. He has been with PVP Gestion du patrimoine et assurances de personnes as a compliance officer since 2006 and as an operations management advisor since 2010. Previously, he worked at SFL Placement and Fond Alpha. Mr. Quessy has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Université Laval.

Laurent Beaudoin, Conway's President and Chief Executive Officer, said that: "Mr. Quessy's expertise in finance, and particularly in compliance controls, will help strengthen the technical aspects of our board of directors. We welcome him on the board's behalf." 

Mr. Quessy's appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
