COOLBRANDS INTERNATIONAL INC. OBTAINS FINAL ORDER FOR PLAN OF ARRANGEMENT

TORONTO, Oct. 29 /CNW/ - CoolBrands International Inc. (TSX:COB) ("CoolBrands") is pleased to announce that the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) has issued a final order approving the previously announced statutory arrangement under section 192 of the Canada Business Corporations Act (the "Arrangement") pursuant to which CoolBrands, among other things, will be continued into the State of Delaware under the name Swisher Hygiene Inc. The Arrangement is expected to close on November 1, 2010 and is being effected in connection with the previously announced merger between CoolBrands and Swisher International, Inc. (the "Merger"), which is expected to close on November 2, 2010.
