JONQUIÈRE, QC, March 4, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - Today Corbeil and BMR Group, two 100% Quebec-owned companies, announced the launch of a pilot project to deliver a fully integrated and complementary product offering under one roof. Aimed at improving the shopping experience for customers, the project will go live this spring at the Potvin & Bouchard store in Jonquière, a BMR Group property.
A Corbeil store inside a BMR Group home improvement center
What exactly does that mean? It means Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean shoppers will find inside of the Jonquière Potvin & Bouchard a space dedicated to a Corbeil store and its advisors, making it easy for them to incorporate Corbeil appliances into their home improvement and design projects. Customers will now benefit from the expertise of two industry leaders known for quality service—Corbeil the appliance specialists, and BMR Group the renovation experts—all in one place. While the Potvin & Bouchard is being remodeled to accommodate the new Corbeil section, it will also get a facelift inside and out, including a new storefront and redesigned aisles for a better shopping experience.
Quotations
"We're proud to kick off this pilot project with BMR Group today. We're especially excited to be working with another Quebec‑owned company toward a common goal: giving our customers an all‑new shopping experience, with a fully integrated and complementary product offering and the best possible advice from appliance and renovation experts. This project is a vivid example of Corbeil's business strategy since its acquisition from Sears in 2017."
- Anthony Amiel, president of Amiel Group
"With this partnership, BMR Group has found another way to stand out from the competition. By joining forces with an industry expert, we know we're offering our customers the best service out there and the quality products that have made Corbeil a household name. Once the concept is up and running in Jonquière, we could see more BMR Group home improvement centers adding a Corbeil section to their stores."
- Pascal Houle, CEO of BMR Group
