Corey Hart, Matt Dusk and Nikki Yanofsky join "It's Always Something" Variety Show for Gilda's Club, Presented by The Keg Steakhouse + Bar
TORONTO, Oct. 28, 2013 /CNW/ - World acclaimed singing stars Corey Hart, Matt Dusk and Nikki Yanofsky have joined an all-star line-up for Canada's Number One live Variety Show, "It's Always Something", Presented by The Keg Steakhouse + Bar, to be held Saturday, November 16th at The Sony Centre in Toronto.
This outstanding evening of comedy, music and dance is in support of Gilda's Club Greater Toronto, a welcoming community of free social and emotional support for kids, teens and adults living with cancer.
Making only his third appearance on a Canadian stage in more than 12 years, Hart, with International hits such as "Sunglasses at Night", "Never Surrender" and the just released single "Night Visions", has sold more than 16 million records worldwide during his 30 year career. The JUNO-nominated Dusk is one of the most sought after jazz musician/vocalists performing today, with his fifth studio album "My Funny Valentine - The Chet Baker Songbook", already a hit. And Yanofsky, whose 2010 Olympic Games theme "I Believe" was certified quadruple platinum, has recently released a smash hit, "Something New", executive-produced by Quincy Jones.
Hart, Dusk and Yanofsky join Canada's legendary award-winning comedian Ron James, taking his first turn as host of the show. Joining them are the masters of improvisational comedy, Gemini award-winner Colin Mochrie, and his partner from the critically acclaimed "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" Brad Sherwood. Also gracing Sony Centre's stage will be eclectic electric violinist Dr. Eugene Draw, and one of Canada's hottest young rising singer-songwriters, Jessica Mitchell. And just announced to this blockbuster line-up are a cappella wonders "Countermeasure" and the latest prodigy to be signed by David Foster, Cody Karey.
Gilda's Club Greater Toronto, is named after famed Saturday Night Live comedian Gilda Radner. Over its 11 years, the show has netted more than four million dollars back to Gilda's Club to fulfill Gilda's wish that "no one should have to face cancer alone."
