A correction is being issued in regards to the release sent at 5:00 pm ET on April 17, 2012. The release originally stated a record date of April 17 2012, rather than the correct date of April 27, 2012.

TORONTO, April 18, 2012 /CNW/ - Sprott Strategic Fixed Income Fund ("Fund"), ticker SFI.UN-T, a fund created to provide exposure, on a tax-advantaged basis, to an actively managed portfolio comprised of long and short positions in fixed income securities and managed by Sprott Asset Management LP, today declared the Fund's regular monthly distribution for April 2012.
