Correction of error regarding potential visit of Kellyanne Conway to Alberta
CALGARY, Nov. 30, 2016 /CNW/ - The Alberta Prosperity Fund is clarifying a statement made yesterday by spokesperson Randy Kerr. "I misspoke in an interview yesterday. To be clear, it was the Alberta Prosperity Fund that approached Ms. Kellyanne Conway to visit Alberta. We initiated contact and made the invitation," said Kerr. "Everyone at the Fund is excited about introducing Ms. Conway to Albertans and engaging in a conversation with her on issues of continental interest. We apologize for any misunderstanding."
The Alberta Prosperity Fund is a public benefit, privately held political action organization focused on the needs of Alberta's working families and the industries that employ them. The Alberta Prosperity Fund (APF) intends to raise voluntary contributions in support of voter education, persuasion and mobilization to ensure that Alberta remains the best place in Canada to live, work and do business. To achieve these goals, the APF will actively engage voters to raise political and economic literacy in Alberta. It will also work to help facilitate a single alterative for common-sense voters in the next provincial election.
