CORRECTION: STATEMENT BY MAJOR JOHN P. MURRAY for THE SALVATION ARMY RE: RAILSIDE RD

TORONTO, Nov. 29, 2012 /CNW/ - It has just been drawn to my attention that some information disclosed by us in the past 24 hours is inaccurate.

The individual and his company alleged today to have been part of the conspiracy to commit crimes against the Army has indeed been a vendor of record to the organization for a period of time.

It would be inappropriate for us to comment further on this matter lest it undermine the police investigation and prosecution. We regret this inaccuracy, and we will continue to be as accessible, open and transparent as circumstances permit.
