TORONTO, Oct 5, 2015 /CNW/ - A Canadian edition of the National Fire Protection Association's children's educational series – Learn Not to Burn® has been released by the Council of Canadian Fire Marshals and Fire Commissioners together with fire departments across Canada and the fire safety web site, safeathome.ca. Teachers, pre-school educators and parents are encouraged to visit www.safeathome.ca/lntb to download free Learn Not to Burn Lessons, a Home Fire Escape Planning sheet, and to engage children aged 3-8 in the online fire safety activities. In the month-long program, families have a chance to win prizes including giant plush Spark toys, toy fire hats, and worry-free smoke alarms by following @safetahometips.
