Councillor Rick Champagne Appointed 1st Vice President of the Ontario Good Roads Association Board of Directors

OAKVILLE, ON, March 4, 2014 /CNW/ - During the inaugural Board of Directors meeting held Wednesday, February 26 2014, Rick Champagne, Councillor, Municipality of East Ferris, was appointed as 1st Vice President of the Ontario Good Roads Association Board of Directors.

Rick has sat on the OGRA Board of Directors for six years and in that time has served as the Chair of Member Services Committee and Chair of the Policy Committee.  Rick brings 25 years of construction experience and more than 15 years of political experience as a Councillor for the Municipality of East Ferris. As 1st Vice President, OGRA Members will greatly benefit from Rick's knowledge.

The Board of Directors provide policy guidance and leadership to the OGRA staff and fiscal oversight of OGRA activities. The mandate of the Ontario Good Roads Association is to represent the infrastructure interests of Ontario's 444 municipalities through advocacy, consultation, training and the delivery of identified services.
