Counter Human Trafficking Capacity Building Project in the Region of Peel
TORONTO, May 3, 2012 /CNW/ - With human trafficking now known to be the third largest criminal industry in the world after arms and drug dealing, the Sexual Assault/Rape Crisis Centre of Peel invites you to share the highlight of the "Counter Human Trafficking Capacity Building Project in the Region of Peel" and the next steps in countering Human Trafficking in the Region of Peel at 11a.m. on Monday 7th May, 2012 at the Sexual Assault Rape Crisis Centre, Peel in Mississauga.
At the Press Conference the interactive Train the Trainer Counter Human Trafficking Manual will be made available to all agencies interested in training their own personnel in Human Trafficking. Also, the network on Counter Human Trafficking in the Region of Peel will be announced with its goal of developing a coordinated service model in the Region for the benefit of trafficked victims, especially sexually exploited diverse women and children.
