Court Hearing to Approve Settlement Scheduled

("Patheon") (TSX:PTI) issued on November 30, 2009 , the Special Committee of Independent Directors of Patheon today announced that the hearing of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice Commercial List for the approval of the proposed settlement of the pending litigation between Patheon, the current and former members of the Special Committee, JLL Patheon Holdings, LLC and the designees of JLL Patheon Holdings, LLC to the Patheon Board has been scheduled to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 4, 2009 in Courtroom 8-2 at 330 University Avenue, Toronto , Ontario.
