QUÉBEC CITY, Jan. 19, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ -The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 6,123 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 812,419*;
- 88 new deaths, for a total of 12,541 deaths;
- 3,425 hospitalizations, for an increase of 8 compared to the previous day;
- 359 new entries,
- 351 new discharges;
- 285 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 4 compared to the previous day;
- 42 new entries,
- 46 new discharges;
- 41,202 samples conducted on January 17.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
- 114,816 doses administered are added, that is 110,035 doses in the last 24 hours and 4,781 doses before January 18, for a total of 16,691,223 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 262,689 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 16,953,912 doses received by Quebecers.
