QUÉBEC CITY, June 20, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 532 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,079,184*;
- 2 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, for a total of 15,538 deaths;
- 4,287 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
- Hospitalizations and intensive care: due to a change in methodology, data are no longer compiled on weekends. Thus, the data will be updated from Tuesday to Saturday
- 7,515 samples conducted on June 18;
- 223,409 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 183,813 positive: 356 declared for yesterday, including 314 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
- 1,890 doses administered are added, that is 1,892 doses in the last 24 hours and -2 doses before June 19, for a total of 20,008,814 doses administered in Québec*. Outside Québec, a total of 340,180 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 20,348,994 doses received by Quebecers.
* The decrease is explained by corrections made to the database.
