COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update

QUÉBEC CITY, Feb. 11, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

• 2,662 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 894,613*;
• 39 new deaths, for a total of 13,656 deaths;
• 2,214 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 98 compared to the previous day;
• 151 new entries,
• 249 new discharges;
• 164 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 9 compared to the previous day;
• 17 new entries,
• 26 new discharges;
• 23,935 samples conducted on February 9;
• 76,472 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 59,388 positive: 753 declared for yesterday, including 560 positive.

*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.

Vaccination

• 31,430 doses administered are added, that is 30,651 doses in the last 24 hours and 779 doses before February 10, for a total of 18,125,569 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 292,745 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 18,418,314 doses received by Quebecers.
