QUÉBEC CITY, Dec. 22, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 6,361 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 501,698;
- 2 new deaths, for a total of 11,652 deaths;
- 445 hospitalizations, for an increase of 30 compared to the previous day;
- 76 new entries,
- 46 new discharges;
- 88 people in intensive care, which remains stable compared to the previous day;
- 12 new entries,
- 12 new discharges;
- 54,328 samples conducted on December 20.
Vaccination
- 88,424 doses administered are added, that is 83,137 doses in the last 24 hours and 5,287 doses before December 21, for a total of 14,523,777 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 245,477 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 14,769,254 doses received by Quebecers.
It should be noted that due to statutory holidays, the press release presenting the data will take a break from December 24 to 28 and from December 31 to January 4 inclusively. It will therefore be published on December 29 and 30, and will be back on January 5, 2022. On Twitter, the information will not be published on December 24, 25 and 26, nor on December 31, January 1 and 2, 2022.
