QUÉBEC CITY, Dec. 14, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 1 300 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,267,561*;
- 12 new deaths, for a total of 17,497 deaths, i.e.;
- 4 deaths in the last 24 hours,
- 4 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
- 4 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago;
NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
- 3,933 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
- 2,081 hospitalizations, including 698 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 60 compared to the previous day;
- 207 new entries,
- 147 new discharges;
- 63 people in intensive care, including 36 due to COVID-19, which remains stable compared to the previous day;
- 12 new entries,
- 12 new discharges;
- 13,139 samples conducted on December 12;
- 315,877 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 266,131 positive: 156 declared for yesterday, including 143 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
- 15,342 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,614,981 doses received by Quebecers.
