Coworking Toronto - Changing the Future of Work!
Coworking Toronto Celebrates National Coworking Week, April 3-7!
TORONTO, April 4, 2017 /CNW/ - Working from home can be convenient but many independent workers and entrepreneurs soon tire of the isolation. Coffee shops are an alternative but are noisy and filled with distractions. Start-ups and small companies need access to infrastructure and room to grow. Workers are seeking a new way to work that offers stimulation, community, and collaboration while meeting the core physical requirements for professional activity.
Coworking spaces have been meeting the needs of start-ups, entrepreneurs, freelancers and independent workers in Toronto for over 10 years. Authentic coworking spaces allow their members to collaborate and grow in a supportive environment with a community of likeminded individuals and amenities not typically found in a home office, or at a local café table.
Canadian coworking spaces are leading the way globally by forming collectives of authentic, independent coworking spaces that combine resources, work together to build awareness of coworking, help workers find the right space for them, share best practice and execute marketing programs. Coworking Toronto was one of the first such collectives globally and was formed in 2011. Now Coworking Toronto is proud to join with Coworking British Columbia and Coworking Quebec to celebrate National Coworking Week April 3-7th. Coworking Toronto will be launching an awareness campaign to coincide with coworking week and individual locations will be celebrating with their communities and hosting events in their spaces.
