CPA Ontario Welcomes 1,976 New Chartered Professional Accountants & Recognizes CPA Awardees
TORONTO, Nov. 11, 2014 /CNW/ - The Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario recently celebrated its convocation ceremonies, admitting 1,976 new members into membership during two ceremonies that took place on October 25 and November 8, 2014.
The ceremonies mark a milestone for these new Chartered Professional Accountants (CPAs), acknowledging years of hard work, dedicated study, steadfast work-life balance and a true commitment to the accounting profession and their careers. Every new CPA has successfully completed both the rigorous program and work experience requirements to become a member of the CPA profession. They adhere to the highest professional standards.
On Saturday, November 8, 2014, CPA Ontario proudly recognized new CPAs who earned academic excellence awards:

Porter Hetu International Award is granted to a new CPA, CGA who achieves the highest final course mark in and attains a standing of honours in the professional applications examination:
