CPRS National Announces 2014 Awards of Excellence Winners
TORONTO, May 1, 2014 /CNW/ - The Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) is pleased to announce 25 organizations as recipients of 32 Awards of Excellence in this year's awards program. CPRS National received 129 submissions in 13 communications categories. Winners are recognized for outstanding public relations programs. Gold, silver and bronze recipients will be revealed during the National Awards Gala at the Canadian Public Relations Conference in Banff, AB on May 27, 2014.
"The CPRS Awards of Excellence recognize exceptional campaigns and projects in the Canadian public relations and communications management industry," said Pierrette Leonard APR, FCPRS, Presiding Officer of the CPRS Awards of Excellence. "Winning an award for their hard work is a point of pride for all practitioners across countless sectors of our profession."
CPRS National members in good standing are eligible and encouraged to submit entries. Each submission must have been planned, produced and completed within a period of two years, including the evaluation of the project. The communication programs category has seven different sub-categories. The communication projects category has five different sub-categories. An expert panel of volunteer jury co-ordinators and judges from CPRS Societies across Canada evaluated the submissions.
"The Awards Gala promises to be spectacular evening with colleagues and friends at the Fairmont Banff Springs," added Leonard.
