Craig Wireless Provides Management Update
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER APPOINTED
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA, March 22, 2012 /CNW/ - Craig Wireless Systems Ltd. ("Craig Wireless" or the "Company") (TSX: CWG) is pleased to announce that Mr. Murray Bamforth, Interim Chief Financial Officer has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company and Mr. Gary Birkland, Director of Operations of the Company has been appointed as Vice President of Operations of the Company, both appointments being effective immediately.
Mr. Bamforth was originally appointed as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Craig Wireless on February 7, 2011. He has over 30 years of experience as a senior financial executive, CFO and external auditor and holds a Chartered Accountant designation.
Mr. Birkland was hired as Director of Operations of Craig Wireless on February 21, 2011. He has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry including employment for over 35 years with Motorola, Inc. in varying positions culminating with Director of Operations. Mr. Birkland also holds a business degree from National-Louis University.
