Cree Nation of Mistissini to receive CERP's hearings Français

VAL-D'OR, QC, April 12, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - The Public Inquiry Commission on relations between Indigenous Peoples and certain public services in Québec: listening, reconciliation and progress is pleased to announce that public hearings will be held on Eeyou Istchee territory. After Montreal and Mani-Utenam, the Commission will hold hearings in the Cree Nation of Mistissini in June.
Before heading on Cree territory, a first week of hearings will be performed at the Val-d'Or Conservatory of Music and Drama. Then, Commissioner Viens will travel to the Cree Nation of Mistissini to complete the block of hearings.
Here is how June schedule will undergo:
Val-d'Or Conservatory of Music and Drama
Week 24: June 4-8, 2018
Neoskweskau Complex (gymnasium), Cree nation of Mistissini
Week 25: June 11-15, 2018
Week 26: June 18-20, 2018
This will be the Commission's last block of hearings before resuming on August 13, 2018 in Val-d'Or.
