Crius Confirms Ex-Distribution Date of First Quarter 2016 Distributions

TORONTO, Jan. 20, 2016 /CNW/ - Further to the announcement of Crius Energy Trust (the "Trust") (TSX: KWH.UN) on January 6, 2016 (entitled "Crius Announces 2% Distribution Increase and Confirms First Quarter 2016 Distributions"), the Trust wishes to confirm the ex-distribution dates of the previously-announced distributions payable for each of January 2016, February 2016 and March 2016.

The distributions declared for the first quarter of 2016 represent a 2% increase to distributions paid on units of the Trust ("Units") declared in the prior quarter and an annualized increase of $0.014 per Unit for a total annualized distribution of $0.714 per Unit.
