MONTRÉAL, May 23, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Croesus today introduces Croesus Lab, an initiative that encourages technological innovation within the company.
This initiative is in line with Croesus' desire to push the boundaries of its current solutions and to constantly add new service offerings. The Lab will allow teams to explore cutting-edge technologies and to better understand how the company can overcome new challenges by integrating new technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and augmented reality.
Croesus Lab differs from other industry labs in that it is established within existing teams. The model, inspired by Google Research, has been adapted to Croesus' reality as a SME. The advantages of this approach enable the company to reduce time to market while avoiding knowledge transfer and maximizing the number of projects undertaken.
The very foundations of the Lab are based on collaborative partnerships. Projects have already begun in tandem with two Canadian universities and the CRIM. In the long term, Croesus' goal is to establish relationships with other industry players such as client research centers. The company also aims to support and guide clients such as TD, CIBC, National Bank Financial, IAVM and Desjardins, through the industry's technological evolution by leveraging the Croesus Lab.
"The Croesus Lab is an important step in the company's evolution. This is an opportunity to enhance our internal capabilities with access to state-of-the-art resources and specialized knowledge. It is also a way to give back to the Fintech community thanks to the expertise of our dedicated employees" stated Croesus President, Mr. Sylvain Simpson.
