CSA Group Announces Executive Appointments and Modernized Business Model to
Optimize Global Service Offerings
TORONTO, March 23 /CNW/ - CSA Group President and CEO Ash Sahi today announces strategic enhancements across the organization's structure, service offerings and processes to provide stakeholders and clients with more efficient, innovative and timely sustainable service solutions.

The senior leadership team, in consultation with the Board of Directors, is undertaking a number of business initiatives to enhance CSA Group's operating structure while modernizing processes and positioning its global service offerings in emerging technologies, innovation areas and environmental services.
To strengthen its position in the marketplace, the organization is also moving towards a single brand, under which it will continue to develop innovative standards, offer new services in testing and certification programs and product performance, and expand e-commerce business and eLearning solutions.
As part of its strategic enhancement, CSA Group will make the following appointments, effective April 1, 2010:
Bonnie Rose is appointed as President, CSA Standards. Ms. Rose most recently held the position of Vice President, Service Delivery, CSA International in which she was responsible for ensuring that operational and financial targets are met for CSA International's North American locations, as well as ensuring that the delivery of services are consistent with, and in support of, corporate and divisional policies and objectives. Combining more than 20 years of engineering and business expertise, coupled with thorough international experience, Ms. Rose will be responsible for the leadership and strategic development of the standards division of CSA Group.
Suzanne Kiraly is appointed as Executive Vice-President, Government Relations, CSA Group. Most recently, Ms. Kiraly served as President, CSA Standards. In this role she was responsible for the leadership and strategic development of the standards division of CSA Group. With more than 23 years of in-depth business knowledge combined with extensive management experience across CSA Group's business divisions, Ms. Kiraly will now be responsible for furthering one of the organization's Five-Year Strategic Plan objectives to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in governments globally and develop opportunities in the emerging areas such as climate change.
Glenn Tubrett is appointed as Vice-President, Service Delivery, CSA International. Mr. Tubrett was Director, Built Environment at CSA Standards with responsibility for the development and delivery of standards solutions in the energy, construction and infrastructure sectors. Mr. Tubrett's nationwide expertise in the energy, construction and infrastructure sectors will assist CSA International to help implement new procedures and technologies in testing and certification. Mr. Tubrett will be responsible for ensuring that operational and financial targets are met for the testing and certification organization's North American locations, as well as ensuring that the delivery of services are consistent with, and in support of, corporate policies and objectives.
Hélène Vaillancourt is appointed as Chief Science & Engineering Officer, CSA Group. Most recently, Ms. Vaillancourt was the Operations Manager for Montreal office. She has been involved in numerous projects that have been instrumental at improving consistency and service offerings in testing and certification for CSA International for more than 10 years. In this new role Ms. Vaillancourt will be responsible for developing and evaluating the total landscape of science and engineering capabilities and resources across the organization, capitalizing on new emerging technologies, with a focus on modernizing and maximizing the capacity of CSA laboratories globally.
