OTTAWA, Aug. 8, 2017 /CNW/ - Recruiters from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) will be at the Shaw Centre in downtown Ottawa looking for future intelligence officers.
This one-day event is specifically targeted to those wanting to become intelligence officers.
Recruiters will also be accepting résumés and conducting pre-screening interviews on site for those meeting these basic requirements: be a Canadian citizen; possess a driver's license and be willing to re-locate across Canada. Asset includes being bilingual (English/French).
CSIS's role is to collect information to warn the Canadian government about possible threats to the country. CSIS priorities are terrorism, espionage, cybersecurity, weapons of mass destruction and security screening.
The recruiting event will run from 11 am to 7 pm at the Shaw Centre, Ottawa. Admission is free.
