TORONTO, Sept. 27 /CNW/ - As Premiere Week came to a close Sunday, CTV won the evening for the fifth night in a row when 2.44 million viewers watched the season premiere of THE AMAZING RACE. CTV won every hour from 7-11 p.m., which also saw 1.49 million tune in for the out-of-simulcast CTV premiere of $#*! MY DAD SAYS. Sunday night's complete lineup is now available on demand on the CTV Video Player at CTV.ca.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES
- Out of simulcast at 7 p.m., DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES returned with 1.28 million viewers to win the timeslot with total viewers, A25-54 and A18-49
- 35% more viewers than HEARTLAND (CBC; 950,000)
THE AMAZING RACE
- At a special time at 8:30 p.m., the premiere of Season 17 of THE AMAZING RACE won the night with 2.44 million viewers, becoming #1 program of the day for total viewers and A25-54 and A18-49
- From 9-10 p.m., more than doubled the audience of FAMILY GUY (Global/FOX, 1.01 million)
UNDERCOVER BOSS
- At 10 p.m., the season premiere of UNDERCOVER BOSS was watched by 1.51 million viewers, becoming the #1 program in its hour nationally and in Toronto/Calgary/Vancouver with total viewers, A25-54 and A18-49
- Nearly doubled the audience of BROTHERS & SISTERS (Global/ABC; 792,000)
