TORONTO, Nov. 26, 2012 /CNW/ - CTV announced today that Canada's #1 entertainment show, ETALK, has exclusively partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures Canada to deliver the ultimate fan experience in celebration of the highly anticipated release of Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Beginning Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, ETALK kicks off "Hobbit Week," delivering exclusive access in advance of the theatrical release of the first of a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien. Reporting daily (Dec. 3-7) from Middle-Earth, ETALK delivers exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage from the film's world famous sets, and also kicks off a nationwide contest today (Nov. 26) with Warner Bros., where one lucky fan and a guest can win a trip to New Zealand, courtesy of Air New Zealand and New Zealand Tourism. ETALK and Warner Bros. will give away one trip to New Zealand, which includes round trip economy airfare for two - courtesy of Air New Zealand, six-nights accommodation, ground transfers to and from the hotel, and a tour package to the "Hobbiton" movie set in Wellington and WETA in Christchurch, courtesy of Travel New Zealand. Additionally, 10 lucky viewers will have the chance to win passes to see the film in theatres. The contest begins today (Monday, Nov. 26) and closes Dec. 16, 2012.
