"[S.H.I.E.L.D.] could end up being the best - and best-loved - new series." - USA Today
THE GOLDBERGS
"I love the Goldbergs! This super '80s-tastic sitcom did what most this season couldn't: It actually made me laugh. Great casting, fun throwbacks and plenty of familiar with a funny twist." - Huffington Post
TROPHY WIFE
"'… clears the double hurdles of cast chemistry and story pacing in the pilot episode. That's mostly because the premise isn't wielded like a frying pan to the head, and the grown-ups in TROPHY WIFE are entertaining to watch and believably flawed." - The Washington Post
PERSON OF INTEREST
"The show can simultaneously unsettle, comfort, excite, and amuse its viewers - something for everyone" - Entertainment Weekly

"Tuesday is the new must-see night of the week," said Phil King, President, CTV Programming and Sports. "From action to drama and comedy in between, CTV's new Tuesday night lineup leaves little need to reach for the remote."
Ending months of anticipation, CTV's blockbuster Tuesdays begins by removing the cloak from superhuman premiere of MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., beginning Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. From acclaimed executive producer Joss Whedon (Marvel's The Avengers, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER), Marvel's first live-action television show jumps from comic book pages to follow the adventures of a highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. The team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage; Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), expert pilot and martial artist; Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), brilliant engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker, Skye (Chloe Bennet).
Next up, two freshmen comedies get in on Tuesday's action with a big punch of family fun. First, CTV welcomes THE GOLDBERGS to the neighbourhood, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. For geeky 11-year old Adam Goldberg (Sean Giambrone), these were his wonder years and he faced them armed with a video camera to capture all the crazy in his loving family. From his overbearing mom Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) and his gruff, hot-tempered dad Murray (Jeff Garlin), to his not-to-be-messed-with sister Erica (Hayley Orrantia), his grade-A spaz brother Barry (Troy Gentile), and his beloved grandfather Al "Pops" Solomon (George Segal), Adam guides viewers through the outlandishness of one of history's raddest decades.
Then, it's time for screwball comedy TROPHY WIFE Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. The series stars Canadian actress Malin Akerman as Kate, a young woman who finds herself in an "instafamily," struggling to fit in with her much older husband, three manipulative children, and two judgmental ex-wives. Also starring Bradley Whitford and Marcia Gay Harden, the critically acclaimed new relationship comedy is the perfect comedic partner to THE GOLDBERGS in packing in a non-stop hour of laughs.
Capping off CTV's incredible Tuesday night lineup with a big dose of drama, last season's fastest-growing sophomore series, crime thriller PERSON OF INTEREST comes to CTV. Airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, the suspenseful series' third season continues to follow a presumed-dead former CIA agent, John Reese (Jim Caviezel) who teams up with mysterious billionaire Harold Finch (Michael Emerson) to prevent violent crimes with high-tech surveillance and their own brand of vigilante justice. Finch, a software genius invented a program, aka "The Machine," that can identify people soon to be involved in violent crimes. Tapping into ubiquitous surveillance feeds throughout the city, he and Reese work outside of the law, combining Reese's black ops skills with Finch's technological prowess and unlimited wealth to unravel the mystery of the person of interest, and stop the crime before it happens.
New episodes of CTV's blockbuster Tuesday night series will also be available the day following their television broadcast across CTV's digital platforms, including CTV.ca, the CTV App, the CTV Mobile channel on Bell Mobile TV, and through video on demand partners such as Bell Fibe TV.
See below for a list of premiere episode descriptions. All dates are subject to change. All times in ET. Visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times.
Tuesday, Sept. 24
8 p.m. - MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. - "Pilot" - SERIES PREMIERE
In the series premiere of MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., it's just after the battle of New York, and now that the existence of super heroes and aliens has become public knowledge, the world is trying to come to grips with this new reality. Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) is back in action and has his eye on a mysterious group called The Rising Tide. In order to track this unseen, unknown enemy, he has assembled a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division). The group's first assignment together as a team finds them trying to track down an ordinary man who has gained extraordinary powers. Powers that could have devastating consequences.
9 p.m. - THE GOLDBERGS - "Circle of Driving" - SERIES PREMIERE
Barry (Troy Gentile) wakes on his birthday expecting to get a car, but is disappointed at the kitchen table when Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) says that he's not ready for that responsibility and gives him something else that shocks him. Pops (George Segal) complicates matters by giving Barry the car he wants, but Beverly instantly makes her father take the car back. Meanwhile, Adam (Sean Giambrone) seeks Pop's advice on his crush at the local diner
9:30 p.m. - TROPHY WIFE - "Pilot" - SERIES PREMIERE
Kate (Malin Akerman) feels she's still proving herself to Pete's (Bradley Whitford) ex-wives and the kids, so she offers to handle a parent-teacher meeting at Warren's (Ryan Scott Lee) school. Unfortunately she finds Warren's mom, Diane (Marcia Gay Harden), there as well, and things just spiral out of control when a vodka incident leaves Kate in a compromising position and another child locks himself inside a car. It all comes hilariously to a head back at home - just another day in the life of this new, big, blended family.
10 p.m. - PERSON OF INTEREST - "Liberty" - SEASON PREMIERE - NOW ON CTV
The Machine, now completely self-governed with its whereabouts unknown, resumes giving Finch (Michael Emerson) its "irrelevant" numbers for people in danger, which include a U.S. naval officer in town for Fleet Week. However, with so many sailors flooding the streets of New York City, finding the officer in time presents an even bigger challenge for Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Shaw (Sarah Shahi). Meanwhile, Carter (Taraji P. Henson) has been demoted to a patrol officer as a result of her being set up by the corrupt police crime organization HR, and sets a plan in motion to eradicate them for good.
