Current status of Legent vs EKO International lawsuit

TORONTO, April 13, 2012 /CNW/ - EKO International Corp. - (EKNL - Pinksheets) wishes to announce that after careful consideration and together with input and advice of its legal team, the company, on Thursday April 12th, filed an Appeal of the decision handed down last week by Judge Laster of the Delaware Chancery Court.

EKO has determined that the Appeal is necessary and warranted to protect the interests of the shareholders and to ensure that it does not breach any regulatory or securities legislation by issuing any further share certificates.

Now that the Appeal has been filed, the company will re-focus its attention on the OEBIN acquisition and will provide further information next week.
