Customers advised to call to report outstanding outages
TORONTO, Oct. 31, 2012 /CNW/ - As of noon today, Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited (Toronto Hydro) has restored power to all but approximately 540 customers following the storm damage that occurred earlier this week.
These customer-reported power outage calls remain in the queue while Toronto Hydro field and operations staff work quickly to restore them. The outages remaining are in very small pockets scattered throughout the city, each affecting one or a few homes.
Customers with no power, or part power, are asked to call Toronto Hydro at 416-542-8000 to report their power outage once again. This will help Toronto Hydro ensure that all remaining power out calls are in the queue and that a crew is assigned.
Electrical emergencies and power outages should be reported to Toronto Hydro at 416-542-8000.
