CVTech Group Inc. announces the appointment of Bruno Testaert as Vice-President and General Manager of Thirau Ltée and JJL Déboisement inc.

DRUMMONDVILLE, QC, Oct. 15, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - CVTech Group Inc. ("CVTech" or "Corporation," www.cvtech.ca) (TSX: CVT), a leading provider of construction and maintenance services to the public utility and heavy industrial markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bruno Testaert as Vice-President and General Manager of Thirau Ltée. and JJL Déboisement inc. Mr. Testaert assumes responsibility for the operations of these two entities in Quebec and Ontario, effective today. He will report to André Laramée, President and Chief Executive Officer of CVTech Group Inc.

Mr. Testaert has almost 20 years of experience, having held a number of management positions and directed numerous large-scale projects for companies doing business in the energy, street-lighting, telecommunications and mobile telephone sectors. He has extensive familiarity with all stages of a project, from development of plans, estimating, negotiations, planning and drafting of bids, through supervision of engineering teams and execution of work, to commissioning of the project. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical and electrical engineering from the École Spéciale des Travaux Publics, Paris, and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Université de Paris VI. He is a member of the Orders of Engineers of Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia and of the Association de l'Industrie Électrique du Québec.
