THORNHILL, ON, June 2 /CNW Telbec/ - Promenade is pleased to announce that on Saturday, June 19th, 2010, the mall will host several Father's Day themed events. Promenade, located at the heart of Vaughan, is hosting Daddy Day as part of a series of community-orientated, fashion themed events each offering a little something the whole family can enjoy. As part of the fun, kids can make a cool and unique hat to give to dad with a $5 donation to the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO).

"We are happy to partner with POGO to help support children with cancer and their families," states Eva Murrant, General Manager of Promenade. "Promenade will donate the funds raised from every hat that kids make for Father's Day to the cause. Dads will also be treated to the many promotions and giveaways that will be taking place including free mini manicures and the chance to win a tool box from Sears!"

Daddy Day at Promenade takes place on June 19, one day before Father's Day and offers an afternoon for families to spend some quality time together in honour of dad.

Join in and enjoy musical entertainment by guitarist Dunstan Morey live in Centre Court. From 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Dunstan will be playing a variety of contemporary and popular guitar melodies.
