Daily Bread Food Bank's annual Spring Drive |
Gail Nyberg, Daily Bread's executive director, will join kitchen staff and volunteers to announce the Spring Drive goals as they prepare nutritious casseroles, soups or stir fries. In addition to providing meals cooked in Daily Bread's kitchen, Daily Bread also delivers food to over 200 food programs across Toronto. |

10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Kitchen staff and volunteers will be preparing meals in the kitchen. Media are invited to learn how some of these meals are prepared and get some hands-on experience chopping vegetables and cooking. |

GENERAL FOOD DRIVE INFORMATION
The fastest, easiest way to make a financial donation is online at www.dailybread.ca. You can also donate by phone with a credit card by calling 416-203-0050 weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at any local fire hall or a participating grocery store. Most needed food donations include canned fish (tuna, mackerel or sardines), canned fruits and vegetables, tomato pasta sauce (no glass jars please), canned or dried beans/lentils and peanut butter.
