Daniel Handfield, Médiamed technologies elected the 2013 Investissement Québec CEO of the Year Français
MONTREAL, Feb. 22, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Technology CEOs attending the prestigious CEO Vision event at Mont-Tremblant elected Daniel Handfield, Médiamed technologies as "2013 Investissement Québec CEO of the Year". The CEOs in attendance selected the winner by a secret ballot following presentations by the three finalists highlighting their entrepreneurial achievements for 2012. Organized by the Quebec Technology Association in conjunction with Investissement Québec, this honour is awarded to a CEO of a technology company in recognition of exemplary leadership and contributions to the visibility of the Quebec Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) industry.
Med-GPS: Knowledge that Drives Improved Decision-Making in Healthcare: As a visionary, healthcare expert, and Lean Six Sigma black belt certified professional, Daniel Handfield is substantially responsible for the success of MediaMed Technologies. His new project: Med-GPS, a data warehousing solution and performance optimization tool, allows for the cross-referencing of complex clinical and financial data as well as the implementation of activity-based costing measures. Along with corporate organic growth, Med-GPS has ensured financial health and has created sales opportunities outside of Quebec. This international attention has proven that it is possible to develop software solutions in Quebec that are top-of-the-line in their field in terms of performance and innovativeness.
