TORONTO, May 30, 2016 /CNW/ - The Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) honoured Daniel Tisch, APR, FCPRS with the 2016 Philip A. Novikoff Memorial Award. The prestigious award is presented annually to a CPRS member who contributes to the enhancement of Society and the public relations profession overall. "It's been an honour for me to learn from great mentors, work with wonderful colleagues in both government and business, and contribute to the professional journey of public relations in Canada and around the world. When practised with conscience and aligned with action, communication is a social good, and I admire the Canadian Public Relations Society for advancing high standards in our industry," said Tisch.
Tisch has significantly contributed to the advancement of the public relations field in Canada as well as globally through his work with the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management (GA), a confederation of the world's major public relations and communication management associations. Tisch was Chair of the GA from 2011-2013. His contribution to the global public relations community includes his work on several GA projects, such as the Stockholm Accords and the Melbourne Mandate.
