TORONTO, March 8, 2013 /CNW/ - In a vote of eight to three, Fort McMurray-native Danielle Alexander became the second houseguest to be evicted from the Big Brother Canada house in Thursday night's eviction episode on Slice TM.
The 20-year-old student and aspiring actress with a bubbly personality, lost out to Aneal Ramkissoon, a student from Richmond Hill, Ontario.
"I was shocked. I felt betrayed. I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer but I competed honestly, stayed loyal and true to myself," said Danielle Alexander.
This week, Jillian MacLaughlin became the second Head of Household (HOH) and nominated Aneal Ramkissoon and Gary Levy for eviction. Gary prevailed in the Power of Veto (POV) challenge, removing himself from the chopping block and requiring Jillian to nominate another houseguest for eviction at which point Danielle offered herself as a 'pawn' replacement nominee. Unfortunately for Danielle, this decision led to her demise.
Tonight's episode closed on the latest Head of Household challenge, called "Popular Vote", where the houseguests had to compete in a 'majority rules' style quiz. The season's third HOH, Tom, was crowned during the episode's final minutes. Tune in Sunday night at 9 pm ET/PT to find out who he nominates for eviction.
