MONTREAL, Feb. 14, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Groupe Gardium has just appointed Dany Laflamme as president and CEO. The latter thus replaces Jean-Marc Aurèle, Founder of Groupe Gardium.
Mr. Laflamme joined Groupe Gardium in 2003. Before joining the Groupe he was manager at Secor, the largest independent consulting firm in Canada. And, from 1992 to 1999, he was vice-president of the Strategic Development unit of a large venture capital firm in Quebec. Dany Laflamme holds a solid experience in company management and strategic advice.
With only 10 years of existence, Groupe Gardium is already a major player in Quebec. "Following the three acquisitions that have taken place over the last four years, we can now position ourselves as a leader in the field of investigations in Quebec, as well as in security management during work related conflicts. My appointment as head of this company is an important sign of confidence. My first goal is to foster a steady growth for Gardium and to consolidate our competitive position" declared Mr. Laflamme.
Jean-Marc Aurèle, ex-President and Founder of Groupe Gardium, is very confident about the company's future. Mr. Aurèle will continue to hold a senior position within Groupe Gardium. "My ambition has always been to provide customer service and an accountability that outweighs the competition in the field of private security. Dany Laflamme has worked with me for nearly 10 years, and I have absolutely no doubt in his ability to uphold Groupe Gardium's excellent reputation and leadership" states Mr. Aurèle.
