Darlington Nuclear Station water release update - No.4
Normal levels of tritium continue in latest samples
Extensive monitoring, sampling, testing and diagnostics has determined that the amount of tritium released to the environment was in fact extremely low, far less than 1 per cent of the regulatory limit and consistent with normal operational activities.
Given the small amount of tritium released it's not expected that any abnormal results will be found. Regular testing at local water treatment facilities will continue. OPG will continue to post updates at OPG.com.
